Hand-woven African bowl

These traditional baskets are hand-woven by basket weavers in Uganda. They are made using a traditional African coiled weaving technique from raffia palm tightly woven around a core of banana leaf stem. They are around 30cm in diameter and come in traditional black or earthy tones. The patterns each represent an element of traditional African culture. They are the perfect accent for any room of the house and look fabulous as a wall display, but also can be used for fruit or bread. Supporting women in Uganda.
